Glasgow Centre of Contemporary Art
principal involvement : Commercial Income Generation
Review and development of commercial revenue generation strategy for Glasgow's iconic contemporary arts centre.
The CCA wished to reduce its dependency on public sector funding and therefore commissioned Iridescence to look at ways of increasing commerical income.
As a result of the project, it was decided to take the catering operation in-house to increase both quality and profitability. Sales and marketing ideas were also generated to boost income for the venue hire business.
project objectives :
- Improve profitability of existing activities
- Identify new revenue streams
- Assist with implementation of recommended actions
Working with Finella Devitt has been a pleasure. She is focused, enthusiastic and totally committed to any task she undertakes. As someone who has dealt with more consultants than most people do in an average lifetime during the redevelopment of CCA, I feel well qualified to comment.
